What is MG ADAPT?
MG ADAPT stands for Advance Drive Architecture Platform Technology.

Here, the electric motor always drives the wheels, while the petrol engine works only as a generator to recharge the battery. This helps reduce range anxiety during long-distance travel.

One of the most interesting parts of ADAPT is its intelligent energy management system, which automatically switches between different operating modes depending on driving conditions.
Pure EV Mode
At lower speeds, the vehicle runs only on battery power for silent and zero-fuel driving.
Hybrid Series Mode
The petrol engine generates electricity while the electric motor powers the wheels.
Parallel Mode
Both the engine and electric motor work together to deliver better performance and fuel efficiency.
Engine Direct Drive
During highway cruising, the petrol engine directly drives the wheels to maximise fuel efficiency.
